Cupboards afloat or on the floor???

Today I learned that a neighbors 'floating cupboards' fell off the wall with his dishes in them. It's already well known that the cupboards they purchased were a mistake... these are supposed to mount to a wall, but instead of getting the correct ones, they hung them anyhow, not only cutting our space down considerably, but also leaving the bare, unfinished back facing into the living/dining area. The old ones had doors on both sides, as 'pass through' cupboards normally have.

they also bought the wrong countertops...so I'll make another video for your viewing pleasure... the counters are 4 inches narrower, so they placed a piece of wood to hide to open space to the lower cupboards.

Am I stuck in a nightmare or what?
