To serve and worship the Lord God is man's primary duty. However, we will not be able to fulfill this duty if we do not truly know God. And if the one whom we are serving and worshiping is not the true God, then all our efforts would only be useless or wasted. We also need to be certain that we are serving and worshiping Him in a true and proper manner.
