Ancient Wisdom for Coaching: Diverse Perspectives

Ancient Wisdom for Coaching: Diverse Perspectives

From the Tao Te Ching to the Vedas to the Old Testament, Bible and the Quran, what does the wisdom of the ages teach us about coaching (that we might be missing in a "modern" perspective)?

The frameworks we use from neuroscience, emotional intelligence and International Coaching Federation are powerful, and, they’re rooted in a specific cultural context. This professional framework is canonized primarily by Euro/American white experts. As we center diverse voices and seek wisdom from more of the world’s cultures and traditions, we are much more able to serve a diverse population. Plus we ALL benefit from insights and tools from a broader global community.
