Amber Heard's attorney responded to a motion from Johnny Depp's attorney that the counterclaim be dismissed during the former couple's defamation trial. Calling the actions of Depp's attorney Adam Waldman "shameful and sickening," the attorney argued that the evidence of defamation is clear and the evidence points to Depp as the abuser.
The judge later rejected the motion for dismissal, ruling that this issue for the jury to decide.
