The B1 and B2 battle droids were fearsome in large numbers, but did have one major weakness; the Jedi. Their planned successor, the B3 was designed specifically to combat the weakness of the B1 and B2 battle droids and very well may have won the war if they had been mass produced. The B3 battle droid came in two variations. The first was over 4 meters call and contained a vast array of Jedi killing weapons including a flame thrower, spray plasma cannon and missiles. It also contained a density projector which increased its weight 20 fold, making it extremely resistant to force push. The second variant was so deadly, Palpatine leaked the plans of the droids to the Republic as he feared they would allow the separatists to win. The C-B3 battle droid was similar to the B2 battle droid but was coated in cortosis armour, making it impervious to lightsaber attacks. Fortunately for the Republic, Anakin Skywalker was able to destroy C-B3 battle droid before they went into mass production.
