IN A LINK TO THE ABDUCTION AND KILLING OF ATHUAN ABONMAI MANIPUR GOVT. ON FRIDAY ORDERED AN INQUIRY

In connection to the abduction and killing of tribal council leader Athuan Abonmai by suspected NSCN-IM members in Tamenglong district, the Manipur Government on Friday ordered an inquiry into the matter. As per an order issued by the home department, the inquiry will be independent from the probe to be conducted by the National Investigation Agency
