Techniques for Glow effects on Space Ship models for a cinematic look.

Space ships and cruisers always appear in Media with lots of glowing lights and parts. But how do we get those kinds of effects onto a model with paint? That's what I explore in this video using a War Fleets FTL Empire Ship from One Page Rules. Starting with a quick base to the hull and then trying different techniques to go with each part being painted.
