The Centre on Monday told the Supreme Court that it doesn't wish to file a detailed affidavit on a batch of petitions seeking independent probe into the alleged Pegasus snooping row, while citing national security concerns. SC said it will pass interim order on pleas seeking an independent probe. Supreme Court asked govt to mention Pegasus case before it if it re-thinks over filing fresh affidavit as passing of interim order will take 2-3 days.
