In our India some states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala and Karnataka are rich, their population is able to live a good life, on the other hand there are some states of our country which are very poor, whose large population still lives in poverty. Jharkhand is one of such states.

So even after turning 21, Jharkhand is still troubled by poverty and weak administration. Out of the total mineral wealth that our India has, 40% mineral wealth is with Jharkhand state alone, so even today, in this state equipped with 40 percent mineral wealth of the country, about 40 percent people live their lives below the poverty line.
