Tiktok Star Marissa Cloutier aka Princxss Arrested For Child Neglect
On August 27, a mugshot of Marissa along with alleged court documents went viral. The post consisted of details that were allegedly shared by the Lee Country Sheriff’s Office.
In it, the reason for her arrest was alleged to be child neglect. The picture also noted that Marissa was released on the same day. Since people have come across the post, several of them have been sharing their thoughts on the same.
At the same time, some fans have been trying to get her ‘cancelled’ while demanding more answers.
After the post went viral, Marissa made all her social media accounts private. However, she had released a TikTok video shedding some light on the incident.
In it, Marissa admitted she had been arrested but claimed not everything on the internet is true. She said: “Hi guys, I just wanted to come on here and say I do see your comments, I do see your concerns. I am not trying to hide or avoid the situation. For those of you who know how legal stuff works, legally, I am only allowed to say so much regarding it.”
In October 2020, Marissa revealed she had to rebrand herself and change her name to Digital Princxss as Nintendo was against her having pokeprincxss.
She had started to sell merchandise based on the same. Some of her merch was also inspired by Pokemon. Months after this, she had received a cease and desist by Nintendo as the company did not want people to think they were collaborating.
The issue was finally settled after the young content creator decided to rebrand her social media presence.
