খান জাহান আলী (১৩৬৯ - ২৫ অক্টোবর ১৪৫৯) ছিলেন একজন মুসলিম ধর্ম প্রচারক এবং বাংলাদেশের বাগেরহাটের স্থানীয় শাসক। তার অন্যান্য নামের মধ্যে রয়েছে উলুঘ খান,খান-ই-আজম ইত্যাদি।


Khan Jahan Ali (1389 - 25 October 1459) was a Muslim preacher and local ruler of Bagerhat in Bangladesh. His other names include Ulugh Khan, Khan-i-Azam etc.

হযরত উলুঘ খানজাহান আলি ১৩৬৯ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে দিল্লিতে এক সম্ভ্রান্ত পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তার পিতার নাম আকবর খাঁ এবং মাতার নাম আম্বিয়া বিবি ( সূত্র দরকার)। ধারণা করা হয় যে তার পূর্বপুরুষগণ তুরস্কের অধিবাসী ছিলেন। খানজাহান আলির প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা তার পিতার কাছে শুরু হলেও তিনি তার মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করেন দিল্লিস্থ বিখ্যাত অলিয়ে কামিল পীর শাহ নেয়ামত উল্লাহর কাছে। তিনি কুরআন, হাদিস, সুন্নাহ ও ফিকহ শাস্ত্রের উপর গভীর জ্ঞানার্জন করেন।

Hazrat Ulugh Khanjahan Ali was born in 1369 in Delhi to an aristocratic family. His father's name is Akbar Khan and mother's name is Ambia Bibi (source needed). It is thought that his ancestors were natives of Turkey. Although Khanjahan Ali's primary education began with his father, he received his secondary education from the famous Aliye Kamil Pir Shah Neyamat Ullah in Delhi. He acquired a deep knowledge of the Qur'an, Hadith, Sunnah and Fiqh

খানজাহান আলি ১৩৮৯ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে সেনা বাহিনীতে সেনাপতির পদে কর্ম জীবন আরম্ভ করেন। অতি অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই প্রধান সেনাপতি পদে উন্নীত হন। ১৩৯৪ এ মাত্র ২৬/২৭ বছর বয়সে তিনি জৈনপুর প্রদেশের জাবিতান (গভর্নর) পদে যোগ দেন। পরবর্তীতে সুলতান খানজাহানের নেতৃত্বে ৬০,০০০ সুশিক্ষিত অগ্রবর্তী সেনাদল সহ আরও দুই লক্ষ সৈন্য নিয়ে বাংলা আক্রমণ করলে রাজা গণেশ দিনাজপুরের ভাতুরিয়াতে আশ্রয় নেন (সূত্র প্রয়োজন)। ১৪১৮ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে খানজাহান যশোরের বারবাজারে অবস্থান নেন এবং বাংলার দক্ষিণ পশ্চিম অংশে ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচার ও প্রসার আরম্ভ করেন।


Khanjahan Ali started his career as a commander in the army in 1369 AD. In a very short time he was promoted to the rank of Commander-in-Chief. In 1394, at the age of only 26/27, he joined the post of Jabitan (Governor) of Jainpur Province. Later, when Sultan Khanjahan invaded Bengal with 60,000 well-educated advanced troops and two lakh more troops, Raja Ganesha took refuge at Bhaturia in Dinajpur (source required). In 1417, Khan Jahan took up residence at Barbazar in Jessore and began to propagate Islam in the south-western part of Bengal

হযরত খানজাহান আলি অক্টোবর ২৫, ১৪৫৯ তারিখে (মাজারশরিফের শিলালিপি অনুযায়ী ৮৬৩ হিজরি ২৬শে জিলহাজ) ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদের দরবার গৃহে এশার নামাজ রত অবস্থায় ৯০ বছর বয়সে মৃত্যুবরণ করেন।

Hazrat Khanjahan Ali died on October 25, 1459 (according to the inscription of Mazar-e-Sharif, 63 AH, 26th Jilhaj) at the age of 90 while performing Esha prayers in the court house of the sixty-domed mosque
