According to surveys from the Economic Development Board and the Statistics Department, firms in Singapore are staying upbeat about business in the next six months, but less so for those in the manufacturing sector. Only 20% on a net-weighted balance are optimistic, compared to 38% the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the services sector stayed the same at 11%.
