Food hampers for families doing it tough

Randwick families doing it tough during COVID are getting a helping hand from Randwick City Council with 200 food boxes being distributed each week.

The hampers are packed by volunteers at the Addi Road Community Centre in Marrickville and distributed to Randwick City families in need through local service providers The Lexo Hub, Kooloora Community Centre, Junction Neighbourhood Centre and Weave Community Services.

Randwick Mayor Danny Said recently spent the morning at Addi Road packing food hampers alongside volunteers including Qantas flight crew.
